About AcuPebble SA100
AcuPebble SA100 is a medical device for the diagnosis of sleep apnoea. The AcuPebble SA100 sensor is a small wearable device, and can be sent to you by post, and easily returned when you have completed your sleep study. AcuPebble SA100 is a regulated and clinically validated medical device.
What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you in order to provide you with the AcuPebble SA100 sensor to conduct the sleep study.
The information collected by Acurable includes:
- Your name
- Your address
- Your email address
- The type of mobile device you own
This information is required to send you an AcuPebble SA100 sensor. It may also be collected if you need to contact us for technical or other support, along with:
- Your telephone number
In addition, we may ask you for credit card details if you are paying for the sleep study yourself. However, this will always be handled by a licensed third party payment processor (e.g. Stripe), and Acurable will never see or store your payment details.
How will we use the information we collect about you?
We will use your information for the following purposes:
- Your name and address will be used to send you an AcuPebble SA100 sensor to conduct your sleep study.
- Your email address will be used to advise you when the sensor has been sent, and also to contact you should we need to follow up about your study, e.g. if you do not conduct it within a given timeframe.
- Your mobile device model will be used to determine if you are able to use your own mobile device to conduct the sleep study, or if you need to be provided with a loan device.
- Your email address and telephone number (when applicable) will be used to provide technical or other support to you if you contact us.
Your information will be stored securely in the AcuPebble SA100 platform, and will only be accessible to authorised users. We will never share your information with any other third parties for any reason.
General communication
We will not contact you for any other purpose than to provide support when you ask for it, or to offer assistance with your sleep study. We will never send you marketing material or any other communications not directly related to your sleep study.
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email us at contact@acurable.com. We may make a small charge for this service. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
