Clinical Trial Project Manager



What you will do

In your role you will be essential to ensuring all the clinical trials Acurable is involved with run smoothly. Clinical trials are a vital part of the company’s growth, with every existing and new product created by Acurable dependent on excellent clinical evidence to succeed. You will be directly contributing to the success of current and future products by ensuring we maintain our very high standards for generating this clinical evidence, while gaining an in-depth understanding of our technology and the medical conditions we address along the way. To support the clinical trial process you will take on a range of responsibilities, from organising the logistics of sending equipment to trial sites and monitoring their progress to more complex tasks involving critical thinking, like helping with the Ethics approval process of a new trial and exploring new avenues of research. This will include:

  • Organising trial logistics, ensuring the correct equipment is at the site, managing necessary software licenses and data contracts, setting up and managing the electronic data capture system (e-CRF) as required for individual clinical trials, etc.
  • Running and documenting trials in compliance with GCP and ISO 14155 (if you are not familiar with this already you will be trained and become an expert)
  • Liaising with site staff for monitoring and training, building a relationship with Acurable’s partners in research and ensuring there is always clear communication with them.

What you should bring to Acurable

  • A background in an engineering, biomedical or medical field. This could be a degree in engineering, sciences or clinical experience in the NHS.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Organisation, attention to detail and good planning skills
  • Confidence reading and interpreting scientific protocols

Position details

  • Location: Post-Covid, you’ll be based at the company headquarters in London, but still with the option to work remotely as and when required.
  • Compensation: Competitive salary based on skills.
