Role Overview
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our company in commercial activities in Spain. This role is to be based in Spain, and reports directly to the Commercial Director Europe based in London. With a strong focus on business development, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company growth in Spain, achieving the company’s sales targets and growing the business through direct sales team and designated channel partners.
What you will do
This is a hands-on role, which requires strategic thinking and day to day operational execution.
- Help develop and refine the market access and commercial strategy for Spain.
- Identify and develop strong relations with KOLs and channel partners.
- Negotiate and close new deals to achieve the revenue targets.
- Work closely with the Marketing department to develop promotional materials and activities to maximise product exposure and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical and operational teams, including product, customer service, finance and supply chain.
What you should bring to Acurable
- Able to demonstrate a strong commercial awareness of the Spanish healthcare market, and network of relevant contacts in respiratory and/or sleep or adjacent specialties.
- Proven track record of successfully commercialising new medical devices in Spain.
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently, exercising a high degree of autonomy
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
