UX/UI Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented UX/UI mobile and web designer to be based in our London office. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and improving the website and mobile apps' user experience and interfaces.

Our mobile and web applications are a key component of our medical devices as they are the main interface between the user and our wearable acoustic sensor. Through your work designing user interfaces, you will be responsible for bringing these two sides together in a product that is not only engaging and easy to use, but also provides the high performance our system requires.

What you will do

  • Help define from scratch the user experience workflows and endpoints.
  • Design the web and mobile layouts required to implement workflows and endpoints.
  • Make informed UI design decisions based on data (qualitative and quantitative), business goals and your intuition.
  • Help define and maintain the company brand and UI guidelines.
  • Support other teams with required design work (eg: product packaging, marketing assets).

What you should bring to Acurable

  • Strong design aesthetic with focus on simple and responsive web/mobile design.
  • 3+ years experience designing mobile applications and websites.
  • Strong design portfolio with examples of well-thought out interactions, funnels and clear visual identity.
  • Experience working closely with engineers including communication, understanding platform limitations and asset production.
