Clinical Trial Project Manager (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Role Overview

We are looking for a clinical trial project manager to join our London team. This role can be either part-time or full-time.

What you will do

Working closely with the Chief Scientific Officer and the Clinical Research Director, your role will involve:

  • Support the writing of clinical trial protocols.
  • Advise on methodology and study design. You will need to be highly organised with excellent writing skills and, ideally, experience in clinical trials.
  • Manage the clinical trial process from beginning to end, in compliance with GCP and ISO 14155, including supporting the Ethics Approval and responding to questions, as well as any Notified Body approval.
  • Set up and manage the e-clinical system and the e-CRF required to run any clinical trial.
  • Be the point of contact between the clinical trial site and the company.
  • Ensure on-going training and support for the clinical trial sites.
  • Lead on the Site Initiation Visit and the Qualifying Site Visit.
  • Develop and write any SOPs required for the trials, in compliance with standards.
  • Write frequent reports on the study updates.
  • There may also be opportunities to gain experience in scientific interpretation of clinical trial data and writing study reports. Attention to detail and proficiency in word processing are essential for the position.

What you should bring to Acurable

  • Scientist in life sciences / engineering / medical science / physics, medical doctor or clinical experience working within the NHS.
  • Experience in industry, ideally in a similar role for a CRO, a medical device or pharma company would be ideal, but not strictly necessary if you can demonstrate that you have an exceptional analytical mind.
  • Excellent writing skills.

  • Location: Based in the company headquarters in London + 10% travel.
